Egyptian Amarna Terracotta Polychrome Disc w/ TL

Egypt, New Kingdom, 18th dynasty, Amarna period, ca. 1300 BCE. Rare terracotta roundel painted in shades of gold, black, white, and blue in radiate floral design - very typical of vessels and objects from this most important period of Egyptian art. Quite possibly the lid to a pottery vessel. Size: 3" W (7.6 cm)

This piece has been tested using thermoluminescence (TL) analysis and has been found to be ancient and of the period stated. A full report will accompany purchase.

Condition: Minor pigment wear, else intact and excellent.
