Indian 20K Gold Tabiz Pendant: Diamonds, Rubies, Pearls

Central Asia, India, ca. 19th century CE. A stunning gold (more than 20 karats) tabiz pendant inlaid with 21 cut diamonds diamonds (16 teardrop and 5 octagonal - measuring approximately 1.5 to 2.5 karats) and adorned with a beautiful floral cloisonne program. Three of the rectilinear faces are inlaid with diamonds in gold bezels against a navy blue enamel ground. Two of the rectilinear faces are decorated with a cloisonne red and green floral motif. The pointed ends are each comprised of three diamond set faces and three enameled faces. At the top are two attachments adorned with ruby chips alternating with 3 seed pearls, and finally, the strand is comprised of a gold chain with 47 seed pearls! Simply put - EXQUISITE! Size: 1.875" L x .375" W (4.8 cm x 1 cm); pearl and gold chain measures 15.5" L (39.4 cm); total weight: 25 grams

Condition: Slight wear to areas of cloisonne. Otherwise excellent and wearable! Pendant and chain are antique. Clasp is modern.
