A hand-carved wooden memorial figure of an older woman with a textile wrapped around the body and real hair attached to the top of the head. The figure also wears a yellow beaded necklace. The woman's face is sensitively carved, with deeply furrowed wrinkles incised around the forehead, cheeks, and eyes, a downcast face, and large features. A somber carving of remembrance. Size: 7.5" W x 40.5" H (19 cm x 102.9 cm)

Condition: Rich, weathered patina on the face and hair. Light scratching commensurate with age on wooden surfaces. Textile has also weathered with some fraying and tearing, notably on one side. One of the hands has been reattached.
