A warm terracotta Nayarit female figure stands akimbo with confident poise, her bare chest and exposed breasts contrasted by a simple skirt, while armbands, a necklace, a nose ring, and a headband frame her as a dignified and adorned presence within West Mexican shaft tomb tradition. Size: 4.5″ W x 6.4″ H (11.4 cm x 16.3 cm)

Condition: Repair and restoration to head with proper left earspool missing and repainting over break lines. Weathering to surface as shown with chip to bottom hem of skirt and abrasion s in areas. Liberal remaining detail and rich mineral deposits throughout.
