Asia, China, Ming Dynasty ca. 1368 to 1644 CE. Nice group of three pottery tomb attendants. Two represent attendants of Chinese lineage, the third is definitely an outsider, possibly a merchant from the Persian empire. Each figure is standing on an integral rectangular plinth and highlighted in added pigments of red, black, and white. Size of tallest: 4.5″ W x 11.875″ H (11.4 cm x 30.2 cm)

Condition: Each with wear and pigment loss, one missing one hand and part of the other.

Provenance: private Colorado, USA collection acquired from LA County collection. Ex major LA gallery majority of items acquired between 1980 and 2005
