DescriptionFrom Panama, ca. 500 to 600 A.D., a most unusual and whimsical ancient Cocle jar. Decorated on each side with painted "mask" design in dark brown over white background - something not often seen in the artwork from this region! 4-1/2"H x 6"D at widest, repaired from several large fragments, but all original and appears excellent.
