DescriptionAncient Pre-Columbian Tlatilco "Pretty Lady" Heads from Mexico, ca. 1500 to 500 BC. Among two of the finer examples of the superb pottery skills of the early Tlatilco artisans! Each head created in stunning detail with braided hair - highlighted with added red pigment - coffee-bean eyes and a highly burnished, almost porcelain-quality surface. Mounted on lucite base, each head measures 1-1/2"H. Near-choice condition for the fragments they are.
