DescriptionAncient Roman Redware Plate, ca 300 to 400 A.D., from the Most interesting small Roman Redware Jug, from the Reine Valley of Southern Germany, ca 200 to 300 AD. Wheel-thrown pottery pouring vessel with bulbous base, thin neck and applied strap handle, button-shaped spout. Deep-red pottery, now with nice areas of surface deposits. 5"H, intact/excellent condition, save one slight firing mark.
