Pre-Columbian Antiquities and Ancient Art

The Pre-Columbian era incorporates all periods in the history / prehistory of the Americas before the appearance of European influences on the American continents. While technically referred to as the era before Christopher Columbus, the term is used especially often in the context of the great indigenous civilizations of the Americas, such as those of Mesoamerica (the Aztec and Maya) and the Andes (Inca, Moche, Chibcha, Caņaris).
