Sold

Pre-Columbian, Mayan Territories, ca. 500 to 900 CE. An absolutely gorgeous piece of blue-grey, cream, and yellow chert that has been knapped into a large hand axe. The axe has a nice heft and fits squarely in the hand. Comes with custom stand. Size: 2.6″ W x 8.35″ H (6.6 cm x 21.2 cm); height on stand: 9.45″ (24 cm).

Condition: Tiny areas of encrustation, especially at wide end on one side.
