Byzantine world (?), ca. 500 to 1000 CE. A nicely symmetrical pottery vessel with twin spouts on either side of a curved handle; the body of the vessel has an incised banded design around the shoulder. Size: 11.3" W x 11" H (28.7 cm x 27.9 cm)

Condition: Rim of one spout is broken; possible repair to other spout; fine form

Provenance: Ex-private Olan collection, California, by family descent, acquired 1960 to 1970.
