DescriptionFrom south central Italy, Ca 350 BC. Buff terracotta vessel having two opposing, squared handles rising from curved shoulder; two small, fingered lugs interspersed. Tapered neck with flanged rim and overall painted decoration of foliage bands at center with linear and wavy line bands and rim painted with seven fronds. 10"H x 10-3/4"W at widest, intact/excellent condition, save very minor paint wear on rim and handles.
