DescriptionFrom Ecuador, a large and finely modeled stirrup vessel from the Chorrera culture – Ca 1200 BC. Large rounded base with circular platform and typical mushroom-shaped spout and thin strap. Surface covered liberally in incised geometric designs. 9-1/2"H x 8"W, broken and repaired from perhaps a dozen pieces.
