DescriptionAncient Pre-Columbian Seated Male, Jamacoque culture, ca. 500-1000 A.D.. Hollow pottery figure holds a lidded box on his lap and wearing a headdress with long side lappets and ankle length skirt. Natural tan surfaces with painted blue-green and ocher highlights. 5-1/4"H, right side lappet and right arm reattached, otherwise very good.
