DescriptionAncient Daunian Pitcher, ca. 4th Century BC. Tan-buff pottery jug with constricted neck for dispensing oils; single handle and flat base. Body decorated with brown-orange stripes, as is handle and around the spout. 4-1/8"H, intact with minor surface wear, else excellent.
