DescriptionRare form! Cypro-Achaic I, White Painted IV Ware, ca. 750-600 B.C. Large ovoid vessel with slightly flared neck and collared rim; two strap handles, and a disk foot, the neck and shoulders with bands framing panels with checkerboard lozenges, obtuse triangles, and vertical lines; shoulder panels interspersed with more triangular panels, straight bands on the body. 17-3/4"H x 16"D at widest, 3" section of restoration to rim, else intact and quite excellent. Rare this large and intact!
