DescriptionAn important and quite rare ancient ceremonial dance platform from the Colima region of west Mexico, ca. 100 B.C. to 100 A.D. Comprised of six standing figures in buff terracotta pottery, one a pregnant female, in different poses and gestures, all standing on an integral platform. Platform measures 5" x 9", repaired as expected, but virtually complete. Exceedingly rare to find!
