DescriptionAncient Pre-Columbian Silver Kero, Chimu culture, ca. 800 - 1200 A.D. A sheet-silver vessel depicting a stylized human head wearing a tall headdress. Black surface patina, with areas of blue-green encrustation. 6-1/2"H, several areas of creases and dents, some tears (held together inside with commercial tape), plus several small losses. Not perfect, but a great example for the money...
