DescriptionExceptional! From the northern coast of Peru, Salinar Culture, ca. 200 B.C. - 200 A.D. Brownware pottery stirrup vessel features a rare, double-chambed design with carved outer wall revealing inset/inner wall. Very dimensional and striking, the geometric designs are then highlighted with red/cinnabar, as are bands on body and spout. 8"T, intact/in excellent condition.
