Roman North African Pottery Oil Lamp w/ Floral Petals

Late Roman/Early Byzantine, ca. 6th century CE. A mold-made oil lamp of the late Roman style with a simple floral design in its discus and a laurel design around that. It has a sunken discus, two pour holes on either side of the central design, an unpierced lug handle, and a wide channel running down the nozzle. The color is a deep, almost purply, red. Size: 5.4" L x 2.75" W x 1.85" H (13.7 cm x 7 cm x 4.7 cm)
