Large Roman Green Glass Bottle - Rotund Form

Roman Empire, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 4th century CE. A beautiful pale green translucent glass vessel featuring a concave bottom, rounded walls that flow into smooth sloping shoulders, a constricted base to the neck that tapers to the flared collared rim with a splayed lip and a large mouth. Faint traces of silvery iridescence grace the sides and rainbow iridescence adorns the inner cavity of this lovely bottle. Size: 4" W x 5.25" H (10.2 cm x 13.3 cm).

Condition: Surface wear indicative of age, and earthen deposits throughout, else intact.
