19th C. Indian Orissa Bronze Standing Lord

India, ca. 19th century CE. Wonderful bronze figure of a prince or standing lord from the Orissa region of east-central India. He stands stoically wearing a domed crown upon his head, with hands resting on a horizontal circular "plate," legs spread wide apart as if he is was once riding a horse. A very fine example! Custom stand. Size: 5.25" H (13.3 cm), 6.75" H (17.1 cm) including base.
