DescriptionWe originally thought about listing this as an Roman Glass "soup bowl," not because it was ever used for soup, but it certainly better describes the size of this ancient piece of glass! Ca 150 to 300 A.D., this exceptional light green glass bowl has slightly flared walls and small foot, now with areas of light to medium iridescence. Measuring a most impressive 5-1/2"D x 4"H, this piece is in choice condition with no cracks, chips, breaks, flaws. An exceptional example of the Roman glass-maker's craft.
