Ancient Chinese Dong Son Bronze Pole Axe

Southeast Asia, Dong Son or related minority culture, possibly Dian, ca. 300 BCE. A large cast bronze Ge, or pole axe, with long duck-bill blade having central ridge and complex linear patter across entirety of blade, two piercings at hu, an angled guard, and rectangular nei with open center and notched rear. Gorgeous, excellent patina. Size: 10-1/4"L (26 cm).

Condition: Intact with minor surface deposits, else excellent.
